The Hutchinson School District will be asking district residents to continue the current operating levy that will expire this year. The School Board last night (Tuesday) passed a resolution to first: have the polling place at the Hutchinson Recreation Center this fall, and secondly, to authorize an election for the continuation of the currently operating levy. If approved, the money would be used to continue funding school operations. The levy is for $127.19 per pupil unit over 10 years. The election will be Tuesday, November 8th at the Hutchinson Recreation Center. Polls will be open from 7am until 8pm.
