Two Minnesota Teams are starting the college football season ranked in the top 25. Defending D2 Champion Minnesota Duluth earned the #1 ranking, and St. Cloud State was placed at #13. SCSU finished 10-3 last season, and lost to the eventual national champion bulldogs. Delta State of Mississippi was ranked #2 and Northwest Missouri State was 3rd. Cocordia St. Paul and MN State Mankato also received a few votes but did not get into the top 25. The poll is from the American Football Coaches Association.
