Work Begins on Pedestrian Ramps 26 Aug 11

Motorists and pedestrians will experience minimal traffic and sidewalk delays along Highway 22 in New Auburn and Highway 30 in Darfur as crews begin replacing the pedestrian ramps.

MnDot Officials say work will take place between today (Friday) and mid-September, weather permitting.

Crews will replace seven ramps in Darfur and five ramps in New Auburn. These new ramps are part of the Minnesota Department of Transportation’s efforts to improve accessibility for pedestrians crossing state highways.

Total cost of the project is just over $72,000.
