The no wake ban for Locke Lake in Wright County has been lifted.
Officials say water levels have dropped below the High Water Ordinance threshold on the lake.
The County Board on Tuesday, August 30th, amended the Sugar Lake no wake ordinance. The slow no wake zone is only in effect within 300 feet of shoreline.
The High Water Ordinance is still in effect on Sylvia, Pleasant and Sugar Lake.
The Wright County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public to use caution when using the lakes and minimize the impact of wakes on the shoreline as the water levels are still high.
