Republican Presidential contender Michele Bachmann is criticizing President Barack Obama’s plan to create jobs. The Minnesota Congresswoman says the plan Obama outlined to Congress Thursday night will fail even if the President can persuade the Republican-led House to pass it. Bachmann did not attend the President’s speech, saying she listened on the radio because her flight was delayed.
Governor Mark Dayton and key Republican lawmakers are getting around Minnesota as they focus on creating jobs. Meanwhile, legislative committees focused on jobs, higher education, and the environment are getting out of the Capitol today (Friday) for visits around the state.
