A New Prague man is in critical condition following a two-vehicle crash on Highway 19 Friday afternoon.
50-year-old Gene Harnage was taken to North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale for treatment and was listed in critical condition.
He was a passenger in a pickup driven by 26-year-old Andrew Harnage of New Prague. He was not injured.
Authorities say the crash happened just after 3pm at the intersection of Highway 19 and Red Wing Avenue near New Prague when an eastbound Ford pickup driven by 56-year-old Robert Jeub of Eagan started to make a left turn when it struck the westbound Chevy pickup driven by the 26-year-old Harnage. Jeub suffered non life-threatening injuries in the crash and was taken to a New Prague hospital for treatment.
