A suspect arrested earlier this week by authorities has now been charged with second degree murder in the death of a Little Falls man.
36-year-old Jason Ray Dominguez of Hutchinson is accused of shooting and killing 30-year-old Dustin Joseph Brown of Little Falls. Brown died of multiple gunshot wounds. Police found Brown early Monday morning in his home at a mobile home park at 600 Lindbergh Drive NW after receiving reports of gunshots. The home had been set on fire; investigators believe the suspect set the blaze to destroy the crime scene.
The Little Falls Police Department is investigating the case with the assistance of the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, the Hutchinson Police Department, Morrison, Benton and Stearns County Sheriff’s Offices, the Central Minnesota Drug Task Force, the Minnesota Department of Corrections and the Minnesota State Patrol.
According to Little Falls Police Chief Greg Schirmers, law enforcement partnerships made a quick arrest possible, and they are continuing the investigation into this case.
Dominguez is being held in the Morrison County Jail.
