A 75-year-old St. Cloud woman died after being hit by a car as she was crossing a street in New Ulm Sunday night.

Norma Flanigan was crossing South Broadway between 14th and 15th Streets when she was hit by a southbound car just after 8:30 Sunday evening. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the car, 80-year-old Elmer Epke of Courtland, was not injured.

The State Patrol says alcohol was not a factor.
