Governor Mark Dayton welcomed Their Majesties King Harald and Queen Sonja of Norway at a reception held in their honor at the Governor’s Residence Sunday. The King and Queen also attended a church service at Augsburg College in Minneapolis.
Today (Monday, October 17th), they visit Duluth where, among their activities, they will rededicate Enger Tower. The tower was named for Bert Enger, a Norwegian American who donated the land for the tower and the money to build it. King Harald’s father first dedicated the tower in 1939.
