The father and son from rural Paynesville accused of murdering 43-year-old Timothy Larson of Albertville both appeared in court Monday however, action was delayed in the father’s case pending his securing an attorney.
81-year-old Delbert Huber told Kandiyohi County District Court Judge Donald Spilseth that he had been in contact with a local attorney, but that the attorney told him that he needed more time.
Spilseth delayed Huber’s hearing for one week and is scheduled to appear in court on Monday on a second degree murder charge.
His son, Timothy Huber, appeared Monday with his court-appointed public defender Carter Greiner. In addition to the procedural matters, an omnibus hearing was set for December 16th in his case. He also is charged with second degree murder and also aiding an offender by serving as an accomplice after the fact.
