Several people were arrested on Friday after shots were reportedly fired into a mobile home in Gaylord on Thursday.
23-year-old Michael Lamont Smith of Mankato was one of those arrested for his suspected involvement in the shooting.
No one was injured in the incident.
Smith was arrested after Gaylord police searched his Mankato home, and he now faces charges of felony second-degree assault.
He is expected to make his first appearance in court today (Monday).
The search of his home was one of two done in Mankato late Thursday and early Friday as a result of the investigation, and other arrests were made, although authorities have not released the names of the other suspects at this time.
The Sibley County Sheriff’s Office and Mankato Police are assisting the Gaylord Police Department in the investigation.
