I would like to thank every listener or website viewer that took the time to donate to my families Christmas Project. We collected over 40 bags and boxes of Jeans in all imaginable conditions. We had so many they wouldn’t fit into my car and got the folks from Deen’s Blankets to come pick them up. Mike from Deen’s Blankets was down and was very grateful for all the help and support of the listeners. I am as well. THANK YOU VERY MUCH! Deen’s Blankets makes weighted blankets for Autistic Children in Minnesota and around the world. They helped my daughter with a blanket and we wanted to help pay that back. Oh and here’s one thing even I didn’t know. When they are done with the Jeans there are always some scraps left over. They have a company they donate the scraps to and those scraps go to make insulation for houses like yours and mine. So every single part of those jeans will be used. I thank everyone very much and have attached some photos from you to view. For those interested in Deen’s Blankets…just check them on facebook. Thanks again, I’m blown away by the support from the KDUZ/KARP listeners!
