The Hutchinson Girls Hockey team will face an old conference foe in the opening round of the State High School Hockey Tournament Wednesday.  In seeding over the weekend the Tigers drew #4 seeded Red Wing.  The game will begin at approximately 8 pm Wednesday night at the Xcel Energy Center.  The two teams competed together in the Missota conference for years, before Hutchinson moved to the Wright County Conference before the start of last season.  The two teams also met in last years Consolation Championship in the State Tournament with the Wingers coming away with a 5-4 win. Hear coverage of this game with Joel Niemeyer and “The Professor of Hockey” Jim Waldron on AM 1260 KDUZ.
