A Minneapolis woman was not hurt when she was forced to land a plane in a plowed field near Hamburg in Carver County over the weekend.
Carver County Sheriff Jim Olson says the incident happened Saturday afternoon when the 42-year-old pilot lost power to the instrument panel and had to land.
Sheriff Olson says the woman was the only person aboard the plane. The Piper 28 aircraft landed safely without damage.
The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating.
