Minnesota Senator Gary Kubly of Granite Falls remained hospitalized Thursday at Regions Hospital in St. Paul, where he was taken by ambulance Wednesday after suffering cardiac-like symptoms.
His wife Pat tells the West Central Tribune that he’s sedated but his condition is considered stable.
She says “It’s a wait-and-see situation.”
The 68-year-old Kubly was diagnosed just over a year ago with ALS, or Lou Gehrig’s disease. A longtime Lutheran pastor, he is in his third term representing District 20 in the Minnesota Senate.
His wife said the couple’s three adult children are with them at Regions Hospital.
