Officials have determined a bomb threat found last week at New Ulm High School was a hoax.
Superintendent Harold Remme says when a note was discovered Thursday afternoon, school officials responded immediately.
The threat was found in a folded piece of paper in the school’s main entrance. An extensive search was conducted and no bomb was discovered, so the message was determined to be a hoax by Friday night.
Remme said the school is working closely with authorities to find the person who wrote the message and that there are no suspects at this time.
