Three Hutch swimmers up for awards 27 Mar 12

Three Hutchinson Swimmers are up for some top awards. In Boys Swimming Cole Bateman is up for Class A Swimmer of the Year. According to the Swimming Coaches Association website it cites Batemans 5 years on varsity and 12 All State honorees as reasons for his nomination. In Girls Swimming Kaylee Kucera is up for Class A Swimmer of the Year, while coach Rory Fairbanks is up for Coach of the Year. For Kucera the website highlights her 12 All-State awards, 4 state titles, and 4 all-american awards…while for Fairbanks, it talks about the teams WCC Championship, 13 all conference swimmers, section title and true team state championship. The awards are given out by the Minnesota Swimming Coaches Association, and will be handed out at the groups annual banquet coming up on April 13.
