The Minnesota Department of Transportation this week announced its road construction projects for 2012.
There are a total of 316 projects Mn/DOT will be undertaking around the state this year, at a cost of $1.1-billion.
There are numerous projects that will be done around the local area, including replacing 3 bridges on Highway 4 south of Sleepy Eye, a new interchange for Highway 14 in North Mankato, the resurfacing of Highway 15 from New Ulm to Winthrop, resurfacing Highway 68 from the junction with Highway 71 to the City of Morgan, the reconstruction of Highway 60 from Highway 15 to Madelia, resurfacing
Highway 60 in Lake Crystal, work on Highway 212 in Glencoe, replacing the bridge on Highway 258 north of Comfrey, and much more.
