McLeod County Deputy on Leave after Firing Weapon 15 Apr 12

A McLeod County Sheriff’s Deputy on standard paid administrative leave after firing his weapon during the execution of a search warrant Friday.

McLeod County Chief Deputy Tim Langenfeld says three law enforcement agencies were executing a search warrant at a rural Glencoe residence Friday when on entry, the Sheriff’s Deputy discharged his weapon.
58-year-old Harry Lee Ondracek was taken to the Hutchinson Hospital for treatment of his injuries, was released, and then taken to the

McLeod County Jail pending 5th-degree controlled substance charges.

As a result, the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension was requested to respond and take over the investigation.

The deputy is on paid administrative leave pending results of the investigation.
