Why doesn’t everyone do this? Swindle 1.5 million from good friends, businessmen, family…etc. pack the loot in a suitcase, declare bankruptcy, and then turn around and write-out a check for $20,000 or 1.3% of what is owed to the victims and go into retirement (in some remote location where your “friends” won’t find you) on the balance of $1,480,000 left in the suitcase! Not only did our criminal and prosecutoral systems fail to prosecute these calculating criminals, but now the judicial system just became enablers to the crime itself! It’s a dirty rotten shame.

I don’t understand how they can get away with this. They knew exactly what they were doing and have no remorse over it. They should not have been allowed to be able to file chapter 7.
Filing chapter 7 and swindeling money are totally 2 different things.
As far as I am concerned they should have to serve some jail time and pay it all back. Grant you the $20,000.00 they have to pay is only a sniff of what they owe.
Shame on you people.
