A considerable sum of money was taken from a McLeod County Relay For Life fundraising booth at the Hutchinson Mall earlier this month.

A vendor selling merchandise to raise money for the cause told police that while assisting someone else on April 14th and having to step away for a while, the money was taken.

The investigation continues as to who took the undisclosed amount of money.
