A Hutchinson jewelry store was burglarized and robbed Monday night.

Hutchinson Police Sgt Joe Nagel says they were called to an alarm at Hager Jewelry on Main Street at 10:16pm.

Nagel says the thieves took several thousands of dollars in merchandise and were quick. He estimates they were in an out in about a minute.

The investigation continues. Anyone with information is asked to contact the authorities.
