Hutchinson Mayor Will Run Again 09 May 12

The filing period for three spots on the Hutchinson City Council open later this month.

Hutchinson Mayor Steve Cook says he will run for another term this fall.

The Mayors seat and two city council seats will be up for election in November.

The two council seats up for election are held by councilors Eric Yost and Chad Czmowski, neither of which has said yet if they will run.

At last night’s city council meeting Mayor Cook announced he would be running for another term. If he were to win, it would be a ten-year run for Mayor Cook. He did say however, that it would probably be his last term as mayor.

The filing period for the three positions on the Hutchison Council will be open from May 22nd through June 5th.
