Wright County Sheriff Joe Hagerty reminds citizens to secure their vehicles and keep valuables out of sight.
With the arrival of spring, the Sheriff’s Office has noticed an increase in thefts from vehicles. Most of the thefts occur from unlocked vehicles. Thieves will often take cell phones, GPS units, loose change and other items of value.
Sheriff Hagerty asks that you be vigilant in locking your vehicles and don’t leave valuables behind and as always, report any suspicious activity you may see by calling 911.
