Four people have been charged in connection with a drug bust in Litchfield recently.
Authorities say while conducting a search warrant at a residence at 426 North Ramsey in Litchfield, officers located 191 grams of methamphetamine and 43 grams of marijuana. The meth has a street value of $19,000.
Litchfield Police Chief Pat Fank says 22-year-old Adam Ramirez of Litchfield, 32-year-old Adrian Anthony Ramirez of Litchfiled, 28-year-old Antonia Duarte Larson of Litchfield, and 25-year-old Irene Lopez of Litchfield were arrested. Larson, Lopez, and Adam Ramirez have been charged with controlled substance crimes and methamphetamine in the presence of a child. Adrian Ramirez has been charged with controlled substance crimes. They were charged in Meeker County District Court Thursday.
Chief Fank says this is part of a lengthy investigation into methamphetamine distribution in the Central Minnesota area and he believes these arrests will be a significant blow to meth trafficking in Litchfield. Fank says additional arrests are expected.
