Arlington Motorcyclist Seriously Injured 04 Jun 12

A 21-year-old Arlington woman is in critical condition following a motorcycle pile-up on Highway 169 Saturday afternoon. The State Patrol says that 8 people riding motorcycles were involved in the crash.

The drivers were reportedly taking the Highway 14 entrance ramp onto Highway 169 southbound in Mankato when traffic slowed at the bottom of the ramp and all 4 drivers lost control. The bikes were then tipped over in an attempt to avoid a collision. All of the people involved were between the ages of 20 and 22-years-old. They were reportedly coming from Glencoe at the time.

Gaylord residents Samuel Kloeckl and Megan Meyer were both treated for their injuries at the Mankato Mayo Hospital and were later released. The name of the Arlington woman in critical condition has not been released at this time.
