MINNESOTA WILD ANNOUNCES 2012-13 PRESEASON SCHEDULE

SAINT PAUL/MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – The National Hockey League’s (NHL) Minnesota Wild today announced its 2012-13 preseason schedule will consist of seven games, including four road contests and three home games at Xcel Energy Center. The Wild will play a home-and-home series against the Dallas Stars, St. Louis Blues and Winnipeg Jets and play at the Calgary Flames.
Minnesota opens its preseason schedule with a road match against Dallas on Tuesday, Sept. 25 at the CenturyLink Arena in Boise, Idaho. The club then hosts the Stars on Sept. 26 and the Blues on Sept. 27 at Xcel Energy Center. The Wild plays at St. Louis on Sept. 29 and hosts Winnipeg on Oct. 2 before playing road games against the Jets on Oct. 4 and the Flames on Oct. 6. The Wild went 3-3-1 in preseason action last season and owns a 36-22-7 all-time mark in preseason matches.
