Hot Weather Returns 27 Jun 12

A heat advisory is in effect from 1pm this afternoon (Wednesday) until 8pm. The National Weather Service says temperatures will be in the 90′s to near 100 in parts of the state this afternoon. With the combination of heat and humidity, it will feel like 100 to 110 degrees.

Officials say you should take extra precautions if you work or spend time outside. When possible, reschedule strenuous activities to early morning or evening. Officials say you should also wear light clothing and drink plenty of water.
