St. Cloud seeks suspects in Robberies 16 Jul 12

Three armed robberies in a span of three days have St. Cloud police on high alert and searching for information. The St. Cloud Times reports The first robbery occurred Friday just before 3 p.m. on the 700 block of Ninth Avenue South. The second robbery took place Saturday afternoon at JM Speedstop on 1501 Northway Drive. The third robbery took place just before 7 a.m. Sunday on the 2500 block of Second Street South. All the businesses robbed were gas stations or convenience stores, but it is not known if all three crimes are related. According to Sgt. Brett Mushatt of the St. Cloud Police Department he noted that for all three incidents to be isolated events would be a rare coincidence. Until the culprits are caught, Mushatt said authorities will be visiting neighborhood businesses to help them defend against any possible problems. The St. Cloud Police Department has captured some images from the scene of each holdup, but so far investigation has not yielded any arrests. The St. Cloud Police Department asks that anyone with information in any of the three robberies call the St. Cloud Police Department.
