Twins To Recall Manship 30 Jul 12

Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN – The Minnesota Twins announced today that they will recall right-handed pitcher Jeff Manship in time for tomorrow night’s game vs. the Chicago White Sox. Manship appeared in eight games for the Twins earlier this season, posting a 10.97 ERA (10.2 ip, 13 er) with three walks and five strikeouts.

Since his first stint with the Twins, he has gone 2-1 with a 1.45 ERA (31.0 ip, 5 er) in six starts for Triple-A Rochester. For the season, he has gone 6-2 with a 2.35 ERA (69.0 ip, 18 er) with 27 walks and 47 strikeouts in 18 games (10 starts) overall for the Red Wings.
