Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN – The Minnesota Twins announced today that they have recalled right-handed pitcher Liam Hendriks from Triple-A Rochester. Hendriks, who was on the Twins Opening Day roster, made eight starts in two previous stints with the Twins this year. The 23-year old Australian native, went 9-3 with a 2.20 ERA (106.1 ip, 26 er) with 28 walks and 82 strikeouts in 16 starts for the Red Wings. Hendriks will join the team today in Oakland and is scheduled to start tomorrow vs. the Athletics.
