Authorities say a Paynesville teen dies after being pinned underneath an ATV Sunday.

The boy is identified as 16-year-old Cody Hagen.

The Stearns County Sheriff’s Office says Hagen was riding the ATV Sunday afternoon on private property and was apparently going too fast as he tried to turn in a pasture, a front tire went flat, and caused the ATV to roll onto the driver’s side, pinning him. Authorities say another juvenile who was with him lifted the vehicle off of him and called Hagen’s mother. She took him to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
