  • ·    The Indians have lost 10 of their last 14…they fell 22 games under .500, tying their low-water mark this season (-22, 56-78 on September 2).
  • ·    Carlos Santana hit his 48th career home run in the second inning…it was his fifth career home run at Target Field, all coming in his last 11 games here…Santana tied his season-high with three hits, done twice previously, last on July 22 vs. Baltimore.
  • ·    Shin-Soo Choo has reached base 11 times in his last 17 plate appearances against the Twins.
  • ·    Russ Canzler (1-for-3) has hit in all seven games this season…he has reached base six times in 11 plate appearances this series.

  • ·    Justin Morneau (2-for-4) has hit safely in 11 of his last 13 home games, hitting .326 (15-for-46) at Target Field in that span…he has driven in at least one run in each of his last five games at Target Field.
