  • ·    The Indians have lost 11 of their last 15…they fell 23 games under .500, establishing a new low-water mark for 2012.
  • ·    Justin Masterson allowed six-plus runs in an outing for the fifth time in his last nine starts…he has an ERA of 7.14 ERA (51.2 ip, 41 er) in that span.
  • ·    Masterson was dealt his 13th loss of the season, tying his single-season career-high, done in 2010.
  • ·    Lonnie Chisenhall played in his first game since June 29, homering in his third plate appearance, marking his first home run since June 18 vs. Cincinnati…three of Chisenhall’s 11 career home runs have come against the Twins, two at Target Field.
  • ·    Michael Brantley (1-for-4) has hit safely in 14 of his last 18 games…he has hit safely in seven of his last eight against the Twins.
