Starting the week of October 1st, city residents in McLeod County may see a slight change in curbside recycling.
West Central Sanitation of Willmar will be the blue truck rolling down neighborhood streets and servicing all the blue bins at curbside.
The Herald Journal reports the cities of Glencoe and Hutchinson will not see a change in pick-up frequency. However, the cities of Lester Prairie, Winsted, Brownton, Stewart, Silver Lake, Plato, and Biscay will see much more change.
Effictive Monday, October 1st, all cities mentioned will have weekly curbside pick-up on the regularly scheduled garbage collection day however, because routes may be different, pickup times may be different. Therefore, residents are advised to be sure blue bins and other recycling receptacles are at the curb by 7am.
