Fire destroyed a home in Manannah Township Wednesday night.

Just before 10pm, the Meeker County Sheriff’s Office responded to and dispatched Eden Valley Fire Department, Watkins Fire Department, and Litchfield Fire Department to a report of a fully engulfed house fire on MN Highway 22 in Manannah Township.

Authorities say no one was home at the time of the fire, but the house was a total loss. The Red Cross was contacted to aid the homeowner.
