GSL looks to be a sure win tonight against Dassel-Cokato, especially since #34 LB, Keenan Meehlos, Junior classman, GSL's leading tackle is back after being out for 5 weeks with a shoulder injury. He started playing football as one of the only 4th graders on their 5th-6th grade team. As an 8th and 9th grade player, he played both offense and defense, carrying for an average of nearly two TD's per game. and averaging 12 tackles. Today, as a linebacker, his thorough knowledge of the game, energy and speed in penetration of the line and indomitable spirit has motivated his team mates. His average of 12 tackles per game will be a force that DC will have to contend with.
