Wright County Taking Applications for Sheriff’s Reserves 29 Oct 12

The Wright County Sheriff’s Reserve is a volunteer organization for Wright County residents, 21 years and older. 
Reserve Officers assist Sheriff’s deputies at various community events (carnivals, parades and the County Fair), water patrol, snowmobile safety patrol, crime scene protection, and evidence searches. 
Currently the Reserve Unit is providing additional service to the citizens of Wright County by the presence of Reserve Patrols in county parks and throughout the county.

Minimum Requirements:
Be a citizen of the United States.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Have a high school education or equivalent.
Possess a valid Minnesota Driver’s License with a good driving record.
Submit to a background check and oral panel interview.
After successful panel interview, submit to an in home interview.
Not have been convicted of a felony.

Desirable Qualities of Reserve Candidates:
In addition to meeting the minimum requirements, it is desirable that the Reserve Candidate also possess the following qualities:
Candidate must feel they can meet most physical requirements.
Have service oriented attitude.
