A Gibbon man accused of trying to outrun state troopers on his motorcycle has pleaded guilty to reckless driving as part of a plea deal.
22-year-old Evan James Forst was clocked going 140 miles-per-hour on Highway 68 west of Mankato in August and a chase ensued.
Forst pleaded guilty to misdemeanor reckless driving in Blue Earth County Court on Tuesday. As part of the plea agreement, charges of felony fleeing police in a motor vehicle and misdemeanor careless driving were dismissed.
Forst was ordered to serve one year probation and was fined over $400.
