Carl “Julian” Distad, age 97 of Fairfax, passed away Tuesday (11/27) at the Fairfax Community Home in Fairfax.  Funeral Service will be Saturday (12/1) at 10:30 am at Palmyra Township, Renville County, with interment in the church cemetery.  Visitation will be Friday from 5-7 pm at the Hauser-Hantge Funeral Chapel in Fairfax.  Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at the church.  Arrangements are with the Hauser-Hantge Funeral Chapel in Fairfax.
