The man accused of killing Cold Spring Police Officer Tom Decker last Thursday has been released from jail without being charged.
WJON reports in a joint decision by the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, Stearns County Sheriff’s Office and Stearns County Attorney’s Office, they determined they didn’t have enough documented evidence to charge Ryan Michael Larson.
Stearns County Attorney Janelle Kendall says authorities are conducting an exhaustive investigation, but so far don’t have enough evidence to charge the 34-year-old Larson.
Larson was released from the Stearns County Jail just before noon today (Tuesday).
Kendall says if anyone has information related to this case, you’re asked to contact the Stearns County Sheriff’s Office.
