A 18-year-old from Hutchinson man was cited for failure to yield a left turn after a two-vehicle crash in Hutchinson Tuesday afternoon.

Authorities say Joseph McCormick had a green light and was turning south onto South Grade Road from Highway 7 West, when he was hit by an oncoming eastbound semi.  The crash caused extensive damage to his car, which had to be towed from the scene.

The semi, driven by a 64-year-old Wisconsin man, received minor damage.

 There were no injuries.

The crash happened just before 4pm.
