Leo “Skip” Schmidt age 89 of Blakeley, passed away Tuesday (12/11) at the Lutheran Home in Belle Plaine.  Funeral Service will be Friday (12/14) at 11 am at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Belle Plaine with interment in the Oakwood Cemetery in Belle Plaine.  Visitation will be at the Kolden Funeral Home in Belle Plaine on Thursday from 4-8 pm.  Further Visitation will be Friday one hour prior to the service.  Arrangements are with the Kolden Funeral Home in Belle Plaine.
