There may be more conference movement coming in the Western Metro. The Shakopee School board has given the approval to apply for membership into the South Suburban Conference. The Shakopee Valley News reports the Sabers could move out of the Missota Conference as soon as 2014. Activities Director John Janke said the SSC would be a better matchup for their schools in competition, size of schools, and distance from those schools. The SSC also this week approved the addition of Farmington to the Conference making it an 11 team conference currently.
