Last week, a fire broke out at Hydro Engineering in Norwood Young America, but thanks to a sprinkler system, business went on as usual the following day.
On Thursday, December 20th, a neighbor to Hydro Engineering called in the fire after hearing the fire alarms approximately at 10:45 PM. When firefighters got into the building there was no fire left.
One sprinkler head went off and doused the flames containing the damage to some paint rags, cardboard boxes and a part of a pallet.
All that was left for the fire fighters to do was to ventilate the area and water cleanup.
Hydo Engineering manufactures liquid waste equipment and equipment for the fracking industry.
