The executive director of the Glencoe Area Chamber of Commerce is resigning.
Dan Ehrke has served as the head of the Glencoe Chamber for 7 years, but is leaving to take a job as a community development specialist with regional engineering consulting firm Short Elliott Hendrickson.
His last day on the job with the Glencoe Chamber will be this Friday.
The chamber board of directors has begun the process of finding a replacement for Ehrke. In the meantime, his chamber assistant Myranda Vandamme will reportedly increase her hours and chamber board members will take over some of Ehrke’s other duties.
