An Eden Valley man was injured after crashing his snowmobile into a power pole Sunday afternoon in rural Meeker County.

 20-year-old Evan Blackwell was taken to Meeker Memorial Hospital in Litchfield for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

According to the Meeker County Sheriff’s Office, Blackwell was driving in the north ditch of Meeker County Road 3 west of Highway 4 in Union Grove Township when he hit the pole.

The crash happened around 1:30 p.m.
