The Wild continues a three-game homestand the following night, Sunday, Jan. 20, at 7 p.m. as the Dallas Stars make their lone visit to Xcel Energy Center. The Wild’s 2012-13 schedule consists of 48 games – 24 at Xcel Energy Center and 24 road contests – and ends on Saturday, April 27. The Wild’s home schedule features 11 weekend dates (one Friday, five Saturdays, five Sundays). Most evening games at Xcel Energy Center will begin at 7 p.m.
Single-game tickets for all regular season home games will go on sale Wednesday, Jan. 16 at 8 a.m. at the Xcel Energy Center Box Office (175 West Kellogg Boulevard). The Wild’s ticket on-sale is presented by Kwik Trip. Tickets will also go on sale on Wednesday, Jan. 16, at 12 p.m. on the Wild web site (www.wild.com), and all Ticketmaster (www.ticketmaster.com) locations or by calling Ticketmaster at (800) 745-3000.
Minnesota will play 18 times against the Northwest Division – five games versus Calgary (two home, three road) and Colorado (three home, two road) and four each against Edmonton (two home, two road) and Vancouver (two home, two road). In addition, the club will play the remaining members of the Western Conference three times each for a total of 30 games.
Popular guests at Xcel Energy Center include: the defending Stanley Cup champion Los Angeles Kings (March 30, April 23), the Calgary Flames (Feb. 26, April 21), the Chicago Blackhawks (Jan. 30, April 9), the Dallas Stars (Jan. 20) the Detroit Red Wings (Feb. 17), the Edmonton Oilers (March 3, April 26), the St. Louis Blues (April 1, April 11), the San Jose Sharks (March 23), and the Vancouver Canucks (Feb. 7, March 10).
The Wild will play a three-game homestand four times, including to open the season. Minnesota will go on three different three-game road trips. The Wild is scheduled to play nine back-to-backs in 2012-13.
