A Hutchinson football player is staying close to home to play college football. Tigers Defensive End and Linebacker Shaun Schindler made a verbal commitment earlier this week to Minnesota State Mankato. Schindler was a Mr. Football candidate this season, along with being named to the All State Teams by the Associated Press and the Minnesota Vikings. The 4 year starter helped the Tigers to the Class 4A State Championship this past fall. MSU is coming off one of their best seasons ever, finishing 13-1 and advancing to the Division 2 National Semi Finals.
