A 30-year-old Cokato man was arrested last week on child pornography charges and was taken to the Meeker County Jail to await his first court appearance.
Meeker County Sheriff Jeff Norlin says Bryan Robert Moham, formerly of Dassel, was wanted on 68 counts of possession of child pornography and was arrested in Cokato Friday by the Wright County Sheriff’s Office. He was then transferred to Meeker County authorities.
Sheriff Norlin says the arrest came after an investigation determined a person was allegedly possessing child pornography in the city of Dassel, based on a host computer with an internet protocol address and owner in that city.
Investigators executed a search warrant at Moham’s residence in the 200 block of Fourth Street in Dassel and seized a computer containing child pornographic images.
Examination of the computer revealed over 4,000 documented images and videos confirmed to be child pornographic images of victims under the age of 16.
